AFEX Opens Office in Surrey, Partners with Surrey Board of Trade

Partnership will expand AFEX’s reach, accessing energy, mining and other key industries in Western Canada

Woodland Hills, Calif. AFEX, one of the world’s largest non-bank providers of global payment, foreign currency and risk management solutions, today announced its expansion to Vancouver via a strategic partnership with the Surrey Board of Trade.  The new AFEX Vancouver office will be headquartered within the Surrey Board of Trade.

The partnership will take advantage of synergies between AFEX and the Surrey Board of Trade, a Vancouver-based non-profit that advocates for local businesses at all levels of government, facilitates networking opportunities, and provides cost-saving benefits and marketing opportunities.

Western Canada is a key strategic market for AFEX with an internationally engaged economy in diverse sectors such as energy, mining, finance, insurance, real estate and corporate management, and AFEX will seek to assist clients with a customized strategy to manage foreign currency exposure and mitigate risk.
