Surrey RCMP and the family of a 25 year old girl reported missing from Surrey say she has been found.

Alyssa Amarshi turned up safe late Sunday evening.

Her family say no foul play is suspected, but would not elaborate further.

She was last seen in Surrey at 1:30 Sunday morning. Police say it’s unusual for her to be out of touch with her family for so long, and were concerned about her safety.

RCMP believed she may have been on her way to her Burnaby home, but she is also known to frequently visit Vancouver.

Amarshi is described South Asian, 5’2” tall, and about 100 lbs. with a slender build. She has long black hair and brown eyes.
