Surrey Police Investigate stabbing that left one male injured

Surrey: RCMP in Surrey is investigating an overnight stabbing that took place on Thursday evening that resulted in non-life threatening injuries to one male.

At 10:55 p.m. on July 30th, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a stabbing in the 13200 block of 108 Avenue. An argument broke out between a group of males, and a 36 year old Surrey male, suffered a stab injury to the torso. The victim was taken to a local area hospital and is stable condition with non-life threatening injuries. It’s not clear at this point what the argument was about. The victim, who was not known to the suspects, is cooperating with police.

The Surrey RCMP General Investigation Unit is investigating this crime with the help of the Integrated Forensic Identification Section, says Cpl. Scotty Schumann. Police will be in the area looking for witnesses, evidence and surveillance video.
