Found Remains Believed to be a Homicide

Langley: The Langley RCMP were called to the 24700 block of 64 Avenue on November 25th just before 10:30 am for what was called in as a possible body in that location.

Upon attendance police located human remains off the side of the road and evidence in the early stages suggested that the individual was a victim of homicide.

Due to the remains being badly burned there are a number of answers we require in order to move forward with this homicide investigation.

“There is very little detail to be released at this stage and IHIT investigators will be relying heavily on an autopsy in order to obtain details about who this victim is,” says Staff Sergeant Jennifer Pound.

An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the IHIT tipline at 1-877-551-4448, or, if you wish to remain anonymous call Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477
