Early morning shooting in Cloverdale

Surrey:Marihuana grow-op discovered and two men  shot, found in the parking lot cross from the Surrey Memorial Hospital.

On October 28th at approximately 5:00am, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of shots fired in the 17900 block of 40th Avenue. Officers on scene discovered evidence of a marihuana grow-op and a possible shooting at this location, however, no victims were located.

At approximately 5:20am, Surrey RCMP were advised that two people had been located in a parking lot across from Surrey Memorial Hospital (137 B Street and 96th Avenue) suffering from gunshot wounds. The two individuals were taken to hospital in serious condition.

These two incidents are still in the early stages of investigation, however, early indications are that they are related. The two male victims, in their 30’s, are known to police.

Surrey RCMP’s General Investigations Unit is currently investigating.
