One man in Surrey is in critical condition after stabbing

Surrey:  Mounties in Surrey now say the young man they believed had been shot early Monday morning was actually stabbed.
Officers were called to 184 Street and 92 Avenue shortly after midnight after witnesses reported hearing shots fired.
They discovered a man suffering from significant injuries, and suspected he had been shot.
But investigators now say the reports of gunshots were unsubstantiated and the victim’s injuries appear to be from a stabbing.
His wounds are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police still suspect the attack was targeted.Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
